For art week, I chose to research and create a piece about Stonewall National Historical Landmark.
I created a social media post about the Stonewall Riots and the NHL that honors this event because of the event’s importance to the LGBTQ+ rights movement, which is a cause I care much about. The purpose of the Stonewall Monument is conveyed through the awareness this art piece shares about Queer rights and history.
